🍞 Quick & Easy Bread Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of bread (white, brown, or multigrain)

  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce or tomato ketchup

  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese (or any cheese you like)

  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped

  • 1/2 capsicum (bell pepper), finely chopped

  • 1 tomato, finely chopped (optional)

  • Sweet corn, olives, or jalapeños (optional)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Oregano and chili flakes (optional)

  • Butter or oil (for toasting)


🔪 Instructions:

  1. Prep the Bread:

    • Lightly toast the bread slices on a tawa (griddle) or in a toaster to make them a bit crisp.

  2. Spread Sauce:

    • Place the toasted bread on a flat surface. Spread a layer of pizza sauce or ketchup evenly on each slice.

  3. Add Toppings:

    • Sprinkle chopped onions, capsicum, tomato, corn, olives, etc. on top.

    • Add a pinch of salt and pepper.

    • Generously sprinkle cheese over the toppings.

  4. Toast or Bake:

    • Option 1 (Tawa method): Heat a non-stick pan, place the bread slices, cover with a lid, and cook on low flame until the cheese melts.

    • Option 2 (Oven method): Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake bread pizzas for 5–7 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and melted.

  5. Season & Serve:

    • Sprinkle oregano and chili flakes on top.

    • Slice and serve hot!


✅ Tips:

  • Use leftover veggies or paneer for variations.

  • Add a bit of garlic butter for extra flavor.

  • Try sandwich bread, French bread, or even pav buns!
