🍤 Shrimp Spaghetti Recipe

🕒 Total Time: 30 minutes

Servings: 2–4

🧂 Ingredients:

  • 8 oz (225g) spaghetti

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

  • 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved (or 1 cup canned diced tomatoes)

  • 1/4 cup white wine or chicken broth (optional, for depth)

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

  • Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving (optional)

🍳 Instructions:

  1. Cook the Spaghetti:

    • Boil salted water and cook spaghetti until al dente.

    • Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.

  2. Cook the Shrimp:

    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

    • Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.

    • Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper. Cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside.

  3. Make the Sauce:

    • In the same pan, add cherry tomatoes. Cook until they begin to burst (about 5 minutes).

    • Deglaze with white wine or broth if using. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.

  4. Combine Everything:

    • Add cooked spaghetti and a splash of reserved pasta water to the skillet.

    • Toss with shrimp, lemon juice, and parsley. Stir to combine and heat through.

  5. Serve:

    • Plate and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.

    • Garnish with extra parsley and a lemon wedge.
