🍤 Shrimp Spaghetti Recipe

🧂 Ingredients:

8 oz (225g) spaghetti

2 tbsp olive oil
-
3–4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved (or 1 cup canned diced tomatoes)

1/4 cup white wine or chicken broth (optional, for depth)

Juice of 1/2 lemon
-
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
-
Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving (optional)
🍳 Instructions:

Cook the Spaghetti:

Boil salted water and cook spaghetti until al dente.

Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.

Cook the Shrimp:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper. Cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside.

Make the Sauce:

In the same pan, add cherry tomatoes. Cook until they begin to burst (about 5 minutes).

Deglaze with white wine or broth if using. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.

Combine Everything:

Add cooked spaghetti and a splash of reserved pasta water to the skillet.

Toss with shrimp, lemon juice, and parsley. Stir to combine and heat through.

Plate and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.

Garnish with extra parsley and a lemon wedge.
