🥗 Classic Italian Salad Recipe

Ingredients:




  • 4 cups Romaine lettuce (chopped)

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes (halved)

  • ½ cucumber (sliced thin)

  • ¼ red onion (thinly sliced)

  • ½ cup black olives (pitted)

  • ¼ cup pepperoncini (optional, for a tangy kick)

  • ¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese

  • Croutons (optional)

For the Dressing:

  • ⅓ cup extra virgin olive oil

  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 garlic clove (minced)

  • ½ tsp dried oregano

  • Salt & black pepper to taste


Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Veggies: In a large salad bowl, combine lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, onion, olives, and pepperoncini.

  2. Make the Dressing: In a small bowl or jar, whisk together olive oil, vinegar, mustard, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper until well combined.

  3. Toss the Salad: Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat everything evenly.

  4. Add Toppings: Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and croutons if desired.
